Dream Sequence

Dream Sequence was a concept design for a horror-themed puzzle game. In the game, you are stuck inside of a nightmare and must put together the fragmented and seemingly non-sequitir pieces in order to wake up. I wanted the player to feel lost, so the level starts with no instruction whatsoever. I tried to use auditory and visual cues to get the player to figure it out for themselves. I think letting the player run blind helps to build tension, making the game more engaging. The video is a quick play-through that I recorded.
