This short was a collaborative project based on Lars Von Trier's Five Obstructions. We were given restrictions to which we had to adhere, such as crossing the 180-degree line thrice, using a vertical resolution, and narrating the story live in a foreign language. For the project, I did half of the animating / rendering, as well as all of the editing and compositing.
The Backstory:
There once was a civilization of moles who lived in perpetual night. Since they could not grow there own food, they were very hungry. However, there was an old mole prophecy that food would grow under a blue sky. Three adventuresome moles set out to fulfill the prophecy.
